Our MRG Custom Professional Setup produces amazing improvements in tone and playability. Through meticulous detailing at every adjustment point, we customize the action setup to your individual playing style, making your guitar play smoother and sound better than you've ever experienced.

Guitar setups from the factory are rushed and not completely detailed. Instruments also change over time, especially when new. Our MRG Custom Professional Setup includes fine adjustments to the entire instrument, fret leveling and polishing, and fabrication of new parts like nuts and saddles for intonation corrections and tone enhancement. We set the neck relief, dress your frets perfectly, give it complete maintenance and conditioning, and so much more.  

• Complete Visual Inspection: to ensure no structure cracks, looseness or worn parts.

• Check Centerline Alignment and adjust: To achieve professional playability this is the most important adjustment if out of alignment.  

• Fret Leveling & Profiling: leveled, re-crowned, beveled & polished frets for better playability, note articulation, less fret noise, smoother feeling neck edges.

• Check and adjust the Nut Height to achieve the proper action for best playability. Note: may require a new nut. 

• Check and adjust the Bridge Height to achieve the proper action for best playability. Note: may require a new saddle for acoustic guitars. 

• Check and Adjust Neck Relief to eliminate fret buzz and achieve the proper action for best playability. 

• Replace Strings: Replace strings to allow fine tuning of the action and intonation.

• Check the Tuning Machine Hardware: To ensure keeping the proper tune.

• Set Action for Your Playing Style: Set string height allowing professional playability.

• Adjust Pickup Height: for tonality.

• Intonation Adjustments: Ensure the entire neck is in tune.

• Check Control System: Clean and check potentiometers and switches, check pickup resistance, check input jack for proper connection to cable and check wiring for any loose connections. 

• Complete Detail: Polish body and neck, fretboard conditioning, buffing out scratches.
