Everything is custom such as the body shape, the neck profile, the type of wood we use, the pickguard and control panel shape and location, the hardware you prefer and finally the sound profile you desire. Our Custom Fender Guitars begin with either an MRG Custom or Fender body and your choice of a Fender neck whether it’s a Stratocaster, Telecaster, Mustang, Jaguar or Jazzmaster. We then work with you providing the hardware, pickup and electronics to give you the perfect tonality you are looking for. 

I bet you’re asking why I would buy a fender guitar from MRG Custom rather than Fender or my local music store. Well, here’s the short answer, as a musician when you buy a new or used guitar, in most cases your first stop is a luthier to get a professional setup and maybe some modifications tailored to your needs. 

Sure, Fender builds a great guitar but when purchasing a new guitar, you get a common neutral setup and their standard hardware, or you order from the Fender Custom Shop then you only minimal option and you pay a huge premium.
